Sandbox
The sandbox lets you build an integration without touching a real brand's orders, stock or listings. It runs the same API as production against a sample account whose brands, marketplace accounts, orders, inventory, sales and settlements are refreshed every night, so dates stay current.
| Production | Sandbox | |
|---|---|---|
| Base URL | https://api.nasam.co/mm-api/v1 | https://backend-test.nasam.co/mm-api/v1 |
| Key prefix | nsm_live_ | nsm_test_ |
| Data | Your brands | Sample brands, refreshed nightly |
Each environment knows only its own keys. A nsm_test_ key sent to production, or a nsm_live_ key sent to the sandbox, returns 401.
Get a sandbox key
Email general@nasam.co or message us on WhatsApp with the email address of your Nasam user, and we send you a nsm_test_ key with access to the sample brands.
export NASAM_API_KEY='nsm_test_…'
curl 'https://backend-test.nasam.co/mm-api/v1/me' \
-H "Authorization: Bearer $NASAM_API_KEY"
What to expect
- The rate limit, error format,
Idempotency-Keyhandling and webhook signing behave as in production. See errors, rate limits and retries and webhooks. - The nightly refresh rewrites the sample data. Do not keep IDs from one day to the next; read them again from list brands and the other list operations at the start of each test run.
- Writes change sandbox data until the next refresh. Read state before you assert on it.
- Webhook endpoints you create in the sandbox follow the same URL rules as production:
httpsand a public address. Use the test operation to send yourself a signed event.
When your integration works in the sandbox, create a production key and switch the base URL.
